Long wait for this bad boy, great weight, perfect balance and sounds fantastic. All the growl and no head dive. This is pre mod, the tone pot was doa so I am wiring it VVT with a parelell/series switch. Even without rolling off the tone it's killer. Neck is suuuuuper easy to play

Really nice dark fretboard on yours. I'd buy one if I could find a fretboard like that. The examples on Sweetwater look super light and weird.

Mine looks just like yours! I've been pretty blown away with it so far. Let us know how the mods work out, I've been enjoying the stock sounds so much I haven't thought to change anything yet.

If in didn't have to change the tone pot I'd leave it stock, neck sounds great, blended sounds great, bridge by itself is alright, not a bridge pickup guy anyway, I modded my tbird like this and it killed in every mix

Nope, have to fix the tone pot first. I will take it to my lesson which has a drum track and loud guitar this week even if I don't get the tone taken care of, it sounds great as is.

It didn't take much on mine, I knew I was modding this so I wasn't bummed that the pot was DOA

I've had a cherry one for 6 or 7 months now and still love it. Light weight and a great player. The TBird pickups sound so good. Congrats on a sweet new bass.

I got home and mine was waiting on me. It's the same color as yours. It has a much lighter fretboard than yours. I can't find any finish flaws on the body but a couple of small blems on the fretboard. Nothing to get in a twist over. There is a buzz at the first fret on the D string.

I don't like the stock strings but it has great potential.
