I bought a used one from Ishibashi in Tokyo about 4 years ago, paid for it and waited for the bass to arrive at their international shipping offices where they check them over and set them up before packing and shipping them out. The bass was identical to the OP's bass colour and configuration. I received an email a week later saying that the bass had arrived from the field store at the shipping facility and they had checked it over and felt that the condition of the instrument wasn't up to their standards so they had decided to cancel my order for it and refund my money and not sell me the bass, end of conversation.
If you look through the Aerodyne Bass thread you'll see the story and photos I posted of the AJB-V I bought. One of the things I really liked about the Aerodyne AJB-V is the narrower neck spec's compared to the American 5 string spec's which I don't personally like.
The OP is very lucky to have found his because they're as rare as hens teeth outside of Japan and Fender stopped making the Aerodyne AJB-V a couple of years ago.
