Geez you guys, are you not sick of seeing fender precision‘s? I mean they’re everywhere now, based on how they’re flooding the market and are in every brick and mortar store, they should be a dime a dozen, but you people keep buying them. They’re such a cliché now.

This is how I feel about Fender Jazzes! I've had a Jazz Bass for almost 14 years. I learned how to play the instrument on one and it was cool when I started out. Then I acquired my first Rickenbacker 4003 and learned that it can do everything I wanted my Jazz to do but much better. I acquired my first P Bass 2 years ago and playing it is like breathing fresh air or trying a really tasty new food for the first time. So my answer is no, I'm not sick of seeing Precisions even though they are ubiquitous. But I am sick of seeing Jazzes!

Love a white bass, but the tint on that neck, attached to a white bass, is the caramel sauce atop the vanilla ice cream.

What colour is that? The body, I mean? Off white or cream or something else?
This bass looks very nice. I dig it! Even with the tort-illa pickguard

First bass I’ve ever purchased that still had the hang tags and protective plastic on the tuners, pickups, and pick guard of course. Needs a slight intonation adjustment but other than plays and sounds great!

Congrats on the P! I got an AmPro II, too, and now I just have that and a ‘91 Fender Japan P. (Gotta have an ash-bodied bass to keep the alder company, y’know?)

RECOMMENDATION: Before you get too far into P-Bass utopia, get a ziploc bag, put ALL the case candy into it, label it and store it someplace where you'll find it if you ever decide to sell the bass. Wanna add 6-10% to resale? THAT's how you do it.
