Duff McKagan sort of did. His signature bass is based on another from this series. But this slanted dual-P configuration is crazy cool. I’m surprised there aren’t more like it.

I have only ever seen one in the flesh, and I don't think I have seen any of that series that are players with a full set of the 3 piece knobs intact. HM Strat collectors seem to have pushed the price up to over $150AUD a set which seems excessive for second hand plastic knobs.

This was the first one I’ve ever seen—and may be the last. Ha! I was happy the knobs were original and intact. I wish I had the original strap buttons, but I’ve seen a lot worse examples of this model with wild mods. I’m guessing the clientele this bass attracted knew how to play hard.
If you are going to gig it, I'd put a dab of silicone or something under the F logo caps. They tend to fall off never to be seen again, then the rubber falls off.

I’ve heard that the PB-535 is 32” scale. This one’s 34”.

There was another NBD with a 555 in it fairly recently, and I was also pleasantly surprised by the discovery. The world needs more dual P's...
Just do what I did and check Craigslist a dozen times a day for 5 years.
It looks like @steeq picked one up last year. And @Alex Bass may have one if he bought it off @brotondo.
It looks like from specifications page in this brochure that a few of the Boxer basses came in standard and “FL” models. So, maybe there are both 32” and 34” scales out there.

EDIT: The “FL” model has the same scale length on the spec sheet—both 432 mm (34”). I’m not sure what “FL” means.
