NBD - Fender PB-555 Precision Boxer

Here are some sections of the Boxer brochure with Google translations.

“For a performer who seems to be caught in a melody with an atma, it is not enough for a score. It does not matter. The fingertips will make a wonderful reason. A well-balanced electric guitar-like body. Anarchy sound. A panel that inspires creativity. And freedom unqualified to a man who dislikes premises' uniforms, BOXER.”

“Basic is supported by science, but responds with a personally rich facial expression like a human face. Unnecessary fat flows down, only the active muscles remain, and the person who developed extensively. An intelligent and brutal guy with fast, accurate, tasty tone and chikara that pulls out a tight arm. For most stimuli, the first trend of BOXER & PERFORMER electric guitar which the men who can not open thinly are chilly.”

“TBX CONTROL ™ to evoke creativity Special tone control with midpoint click. That is Fender's innovation mechanism TBX control. In addition to the Hi - Cut tone control of Phat & Warmoon which is similar to the passive type of the past, it raises the high resonant peak (resonance frequency) and acquires ringing tone peculiar to the fender. Among other things, we will show off a gorgeous texture exceptionally to the high-attacking harmonics sound during distortion-based sounds.”

(No idea how that happened, but) I got that photo off Reverb 15 minutes ago, searched for “used Fender PB 555 au”
I’ve seen that one. Totally bizarre. The A-serial number and the front control plate are not anything I’ve seen before on pictures of this bass. And I’m assuming the thumb rest is non-original. Mine has an E-serial number on the headstock.

I'd love to have one of those. They look cool, but it seems like every setting produces such a useable sound. Might just be GAS, but I feel like that bass would have a most (if not, all) of my other basses collecting dust for quite a while.
Congrats on not only finding, but acquiring that thing!
I’m anticipating a decent amount of stage time with this one.
