Many of the natural finish models seem to have a one piece body or a two piece thats marched really well. That is a beautiful bass indeed! Whats the major sonic difference between the Sabre and Stingray? I've never played a Sabre, but own a natural finish 4H

Sabre has a traditional stingray pickup on the bridge and the neck is essentially a double jazz pickup, 16 pole pieces. The switch allows you to use one or both humbuckers, or the bridge p/u and the back single coil of the neck p/u, or just the neck single coil. I think the 2 band mostly-boost EQ is different than the stingray's. I just got back from church band practice and this thing sounds fantastic!
