Very nice! If it weren't for the wood grain on the upper horn I'd accuse you of fibbing about it being the same bass based off of the way it changes color in different light. Happy NBD!

You know... I was looking at that pg too, wondering what to do with it.. My trans red one came with white new, so I'm thinking this one did too. But the tort looks like it's been on there for a long time. Thanks for the suggestion.

I know this isn't a "which pg" thread but @Fishheadjoe got me thinking about an abalone pg or black pearl which kind of looks like abalone. At any rate, nice bass and sounds like it's a keeper for play-ability and sound.

It kind of took me by surprise.... was suppose to be the dog in a 2 for 1 trade and it turned out to be the gem.

I emailed Fender requesting the info sheet on this bass. Hopefully they're still doing that.

… good idea … post it here if you can get it, I am always looking to see any flaws in my notes and update as needed for accuracy
