NBD - Is this the blackest bass ever?

I bought an inexpensive Harley Benton PBass and put some EMGs in it and strung it with DR Black Beauties (strung B-E-A-D). Painted the headstock and blacked out the fret markers. Put a black bridge cover on it and added satin black strap locks.
I left he gold logo of the EMGs and a dark tort pickguard to provide some contrast. I've seen a few "show me your black bass" posts here, so I thought I'd throw in.

Just add some black color with a Pen on the EMG logo.

Nope. When the question is "Is this the blackest bass ever?" and it has a tort guard, the answer has to be no.

I'd suggest a dark blue pickguard - black and blue is more brutally black than black and red.

You forgot to black out the frets he he .
I'm doing something similar to my el cheapo parts bass, but not all black. Body repaint and new neck. Few splashes of chrome amidst the darkness on the body looks better imho. Not a fan of painted headstocks in general.
