NBD (Jaw-dropping G&L Content)

It took months for this to come in stock, but it's finally mine. A beautiful 2022 G&L L-1000 in natural swamp ash. 8 lbs 10oz. Just strung it up with La Bella LTF-4A flats. Magical. The neck, the low action, wow...I just can't even....

I'll post more comments later. I'm sort of speechless over this one...

I’ve been playing this thing for hours. My god, the neck!!! I’ve got this thing set up so freaking slow and it doesn’t buzzer or rattling all.

G&L is one of the only companies who did a tribute bass well. The only difference between it and an original early '80s L-1000 is the lack of a bullet truss-rod nut. Rock it!

I had one of the original 80s ones in the exact same color and headstock shape. I don’t think I kept it for more than a year - It sounded like a bass , nothing to write home about.

the good thing about that, is that you can still find those original L-1000s around for not crazy vintage bass money. (as, say, compared to some other brands)
