All the cool sounds and tones with this baby-if you are tempted at all -do it!
Got to try the black finish DarkRay when I was in Tampa on vacation and managed to get a deal secured on the Starry version with it shipped to my house.

My double H Starry will be up for sale if anyone is interested

Nice addition. I would have made that swap too. I’ve always preferred the single H over the HH. The dark Ray makes it even more special.

Congrats! Those look awesome and I have definitely been temped to get one too.

I'm curious, how does the preamp (in its clean setting) sound compared to a normal SR Special?

Can you post a photo of your two starry nights together? I'd like to see how the fretboards look since both are ebony but one is dotted and the other plain. Also like to see chrome vs matte black hardware.

if they made starry night with a matching headstock…well…I’d probably still stare at them online and try to find ways to tell myself not to go in debt for one, but I’d be slightly more tempted.
