Beautiful bass. i got to know - exactly how wide is this neck that "plays like a normal bass".

Yeah I hear ya, but probably not very useful in Rock and Blues stuff that I gravitate to, as well as playing
Contemporary Christian at some Churches once in a while! Would be interesting for Progressive Rock maybe! What music do you tend to gravitate to with that type of instrument?

Edit: Oops, dropped back and read some of the stuff your doing! Would make a dandy tapping instrument no doubt, as well as some chordal stuff.

Haha no problem. Honestly its my most used bass and I use it for just about everything. I LOVE progressive rock and prog metal which makes it does well, and is a blast. But I play in churches as well, played rock, blues, jazz, funk, metal, prog, solo. It honestly does it all! But the hardest thing is keeping it quiet with the size and how many strings it has

Thanks! Well the bass at the nut measures 4" and at the 28th fret measures 6 1/2". But the thickness if the neck is barely 1/2 an inch thick/depth. So reaching stuff is a lot easier. Im also have pretty big hands and I'm pretty good size which helps haha

Yes I would imagine a whole new mindset when it comes to string muting! Glad to hear you use it for everything! I imagine set up stereo with a nice pedalboard you could play everything from bass to guitar
to harp type things. Would keep your creative juices flowing! I tend to like to jump in and improv when I play
and I found that difficult to utilize two hand tapping to do that on my stick. I was thinking in terms of chords
and bass and separating the two and could do it with some arrangements, but improv proved to be a daunting task to say the least! The NS Stick was a fantastic sounding bass when played as one, but the string spacing was tough to get used to, especially when I would go back and forth to the 4 stringer.

Thanks man! I have said that many times before I ordered my 2 basses (9 and 11 string) But I can safely say it isn't everyones cup of tea haha but its a great instrument!

Thats cool! Im sorry the stick didn't work out man. Yeah I can't put it down haha. But yes string muting is the elephant in the room, but I usually mute with my hand or forearm on the the low strings and I play super flat (horrible form if I wanted to play guitar haha!) so I mute highs that way as well. The only way I can really describe how I play is a piano. Usually my left hand is doing chords and my right is doing melodic runs or shapes in the key Im in. Thats another thing as well this has 17mm spacing so I can still play slap easy or without tapping or grazing strings all the time

I have craved an eleven string bass ever since I heard Jean Baudin, and an 18-string ever since I heard Scott Fernandez. Oscar is at the top of my list for both, so maybe when I turn 18, he'll have a fair bit of money coming his way
