NBD: The last in stock

I managed to score the last or almost one of the last Classic Vibe 50s Precision available in Spain. After two weeks crawling the internet and sending emails to shops one of them replied me saying they have just one.

Finishing is flawless, not a single fault. Controls and the tuners turn softly and they keep tuning quite good. The bridge looks exactly the same as the Fender classic they sell as replacement. She came very well adjusted to my taste. I don't know if factory or shop adjusted but well done.

BTW, anyone knows what string brand wear these squiers?

I'm really impressed, honestly. It sound really nice and on par to my mexican with EMG GZR. Different voicing but familiar to me. I was a little bit afraid it would be so different I wouldn't like. Fear gone.

Not sure about factory strings, mine were good enough for me, but I'm not picky about strings other than gauge. I did switch out the stock pickup for a Seymour Duncan. It didn't make much difference, wish I hadn't bothered. That stock pickup is great.

Yes, the stock pickup sounds really good. As a whole I think it sounds "round". For the strings I'll keep them stock for a while. Then, probably try to strung her with Rotosound flats or Fender flats which are somewhat bright for flat string and I really love them in my other basses. I was just curious as, i.e., the Player Series specs say "Made in USA Fender Strings blah blah blah" and Squier's only say "Nickel plated steel strings".

A new model Indonesian made CV50P.

I got mine today too.

The tone sound brighter and harsh than my previous china CV50P in blonde white.
And the indo CV50P wood grain look boring than china 50P which has nice pine wood grain.

The neck profile become slimmer than Pre China CV 50P.

She just nice, but not impressive as the Pre china Cv P.

Yeah, I am aware that Pelham Blue was coined by Gibson, and I'm sure Fender has a different name for it, but it's almost exactly the same color and I was too lazy to look it up.

Still am, for that matter. ;)
