NCAA Bowl Season 2011

My team, Clemson, is going to the Orange Bowl fo the first time in 30 years!!! I wish I could go, but can't take the time and money during the middle of the week to go to Miami.

Clemson started the year 8-0, but then had a horrible 3-4 run to end the season, but finished the ACC Championship with the same big offense and stingy defense.

So i've missed this whole bowl thread. I feel like i've been a complete slack ass this year. Anyway.

So for the bowl game we don't have our offensive coordinator, our defensive coordinator or our star running back. Playing a Virginia team that's looked really good at points. Next year looks great but the bowl game? Yeesh. :rollno:

Has anyone but me noticed these games are becoming more and more meaningless. Half the teams shouldn't even be there - "6-5" you're i a bowl!!! And more than half the games are worthless and the stands are as empty as 2011 NASCAR events.

Oh, LSU and Alabama - LSU by 24.

2012 SEC football schedules are out. Go find your own link bums. :)

Did that yesterday.;) My buds and I are already talking about going to College Station for the Gators game (one of the guys lives in Austin). It'll be UF's SEC opener and A&M's SEC debut.

Georgia, you suck.:spit:

As reported by The Sun last week, Georgia again gets a break in the schedule this season, Alabama was scheduled to rotate onto Georgia's schedule but the Bulldogs will again manage to dodge the top three teams in the West — Alabama, LSU and Arkansas. Georgia opens SEC play at Missouri and plays its other seven conference games against teams that went a combined 20-36 in 2011 SEC play.

Screw Florida and the "neutral site" for the GA-FLA game which is somehow always in Florida. Usually Florida gets their bye week right before the game, to boot.

I'm usually more a fan of the defensive 10-7 or 13-6 games, but darn that Alamo Bowl was fun to watch last night. Keith Price flew under the radar all season, he is a good QB. That Baylor QB, I think more people know about him though. :D

So Baylor gets 56 hung on them and wins by... two touchdowns.

I'm a UW fan. Yay: they scored 56 points in one game. Boo hiss: they gave up *what*???

Anybody want to bet against the NCAA men's b-ball championship having fewer points scored in regulation? :hiding:

If I played on Baylor or Washington's defense I'd ask them to sew an alias on my jersey. Sure, both offenses were good, but geeze! Was there a punt the whole game?
