I'm kind of surprised he got them both to sit down next to each other for this interview. Not because I think either is a jerk or unwilling, just due to the nature of the game, etc.

GA is looking good. Wish I could say the same for half-time. So far it's Kendrick Lamar (whoever he is) and he hasn't sung a note. It's gibberish as far as my ears can tell. Seriously, straight rap, no music?
Wait! His band just actually played notes! I can't understand a word he's saying, and he's not singing, but at least his backup group is attempting to create vocal tones. That would be the high point of halftime.
Let's just say this wasn't a half-time show with anything even close to universal appeal.

Well, shux. I was pulling for GA but Alabama made an impressive comeback. Amazing game from two freshman QBs once the Alabama kid got in the game.

Totally agree, "Lip Rapping?", must be a new thing and I am not into it. The kids smoking weed in the crowd seemed to enjoy it however. Whateves...
On the game, it was sad to see Saban win again, can't stand that guy and was really pulling for Georgia. Oh well.
Everyone is of course entitled to their own opinion, but Kendrick Lamar's appeal is wider than you suspect. Seven Grammys, just nominated for two more, and he had the second-best selling album of last year.
I like him a lot, but didn't think last night was a good venue for his talents. His songs are densely packed with lyrics, and the musical backing can also be pretty complex (though there wasn't much of that last night). So a bigger, noisier environment really gets in the way IMO.
I watched him live on Austin City Limits and thought he really shined there.
Georgia should have had a bigger lead at halftime; dropped passes really hurt them. Once Tua got going, the ending felt inevitable.
It's a shame somebody had to lose that game. Normally I'd be giddy at a UGA smackdown but take no joy in this one.
Disagree. UGA responds to the second half TD with a 93 yard TD drive. Up 20 to 7, making the pick, it seemed they were doing it. Then 10 seconds later...
Also, bama kicker chokes and Tua takes a big sack. Not many people were thinking TD pass on next play.
I still say it could have gone either way and bama was beatable. They definitely needed the help they got from the refs.
