And we learned that Luke Falk had a broken left wrist since Week 2, and they've been putting it in a cast and covering that with a black glove for every game. The wrist got worse after the Apple Cup and he had to have surgery, so his backup Hilinski played. No wonder Falk was a bit up and down this season.
In a day and age where guys sit out to rest, or because of what might look like minor issues, that impressed me for Falk to play the season battling a broken wrist.
It sure does explain a few things.
Bummer deal on the injuries. Surely that changed the outcome.
