I bet Smith goes to the offensive lineman's house that missed that block and shoots out his front porch light every new year's eve.
UCF...fun to watch...and, as if we needed it, another reason NCAA needs a real playoff.
Only if OU's defense grows up fast during halftime. They're still very green even this late in the season and the offense can't do all the work. And it's starting to look like UGA is figuring out the Sooners' offense.

Congrats to UGA. That was a wild Rose Bowl and your QB showed he's going to be a rock star. As for my Sooners....
1. What the hell was Riley thinking with that squib kick at the end of the first half??
2. I've been saying this for years, but Mike Stoops needs to be shown the door. There were so many missed tackles and misreads that he should have a boot tattooed on his rear after he's thrown out of Gaylord Family Stadium. OU needs a DC who can foster the fundamentals and not stick to the archaic system that won them their 2000 title.
3. This squad is loaded with young guys that will get better, but they're also losing a lot of key players after tonight. It'll be interesting to see how they adjust next season.
So despite my Sooners and Aggies losing, at least the miss's Seminoles won their bowl game. And I'm willing to bet ESPN is praying Clemson wins the Sugar Bowl - I'd imagine a huge chunk of the CFB world doesn't want to see two SEC teams in the finals.

One of my friends just texted me the exact same thing, and he's a Vandy grad!
I'll watch the naffy if Clemson wins, but I'm definitely not going to tune in if it's SEC east vs SEC west - and I say this as an SEC-era Aggie grad. The ESPN slobberfest will be unbearable.
Love me some SEC football, although I love it more when Florida is legit.

We tried to watch it at home by my wife got all crazy with it. She's not a fan of Red Zone NFL channel, especially when they go 3 or (heaven forbid) 4 screen wide!

As someone who was an interior lineman my entire football career, that was so awesome to see Payne bumblin' and stumblin' after that pick. Fitting it took another giant lineman to bring him down, bummer about the horse collar though.
