Time for some trash talk. It will be purple in the Palouse on Saturday.

I gotta admit, the Coug's defense is really stout this year. Washington's isn't as stout, but Washington has a high powered offense with a lot of passing. Talk about a reversal of roles. It's going to be a really good game. I sure won't be betting on the outcome, either.

The most important result was that Yale beat Harvard and Penn upset Princeton to give Yale an undisputed Ivy crown. And the Ivies are done now, which means real college football is finished until next fall. Harvard may be the oldest university in the United States. It's probably the oldest university that plays college football anywhere. There are older universities in Europe and probably in Asia. But they do things like play cricket.

I get it, the University of Florida is no longer a destination school for top talent and the glory days of Gator football are over. No more 1-2 loss seasons. As a Florida Gator fan, there are only two games I really, really want to win each year. Tennessee and Florida State. Everything after that is icing on my big time college football cake.
I can't even be happy for those wins.
Billy Napier only lost one game a season down the road in Lafayette with the Ragin' Cajuns. A school where they play the likes of Arkansas State, Georgia State, and Texas State. Beating those teams doesn't really mean a guy has what it takes to coach at a school like Florida and now we see it.
Head on back to Lafayette Billy. I'm fairly certain they'll be glad to have you back.

They were all in to try and stop the run, thinking since Blake Corum was only suited as a show of support they could deny what the Wolverines love to do. It worked in the 1st half, but even though McCarthy was 50% completion on his throws the ones that hit were at the right time and for big plays. When the running game came outta nowhere with a fantastic o-line figuring it out, it was lights out. The D stepped up with two crushing INT's and that was the game. It was a good game, that became a great one ( for me :) )

Yep, hopefully the Cougs will take down UW too. Looks like defense is not on the agenda so far.

Even though I'm a Ducks fan I loved seeing OSU take them down the way they did. Jonathan Smith is a better head coach than Dan Lanning at this time, full stop. Obviously you want to stop throwing the ball at all once you're down by 21, works every time. :roflmao:

Just like last season, Michigan is simply physically stronger than Ohio State. The Wolverines imposed their will on the Buckeyes. If Ohio State doesn't fix that, Michigan may go on the kind of winning streak that Ohio State enjoyed the previous several years. I don't have a horse in this race, but I don't like Jim Harbaugh at all, so I'm hoping OSU can get it together.
