NCAA Football 2022

As a UGA grad and fan, I am very happy to see my Dawgs pull it out in the end. What happened to Ohio State is the sort of thing that used to happen to Georgia when we would play Alabama: we’d play a great game only to have The Tide win at the very end of the game. Now I know how a co-worker of mine, who is an Alabama alumnus, had so much respect for Georgia although he was happy to see the the Tide win. Ohio State played a great game.

TCU matched Michigan's physicality, and they have a quarterback who plays with heart, and he's a winner.

Ohio State matched Georgia's physicality, even though they were manhandled by Michigan.

If TCU is as physically and mentally tough against Georgia as they were against Michigan, it should be a very competitive national championship game.

I like this summary on what we saw Saturday, and what we can expect to see January 9th.
One big plus one from me good sir.

Those were both great games. I'd say the "process" worked this year and the four best teams were playing last night.

In Buckeyeland, the whining has commenced full throttle.:sour:

Rumors are the OSU kicker has entered the witness protection program.
The Byckeyes are the pro football team in Columbus. As it has been since I was a kid there. It is Columbus. You gotta find something to think about.

I would like to see TCU take the championship.

Hot damn!!! Tulane is going to beat USC with a safety and a TD with 8 seconds left!!

46-45, their first lead of the game!

THEY DID IT!!!

Gotta love an underdog, especially against the hated Trojunz.

Just turned the TV on to watch the Rose Bowl and saw the very tail end of that game. Nice for Tulane. They haven't had much to get excited about lately.

Quoting myself from January 2022

Sean Clifford is coming back for his sixth (!) year as Penn State's QB. This will do nothing good for him or the team. He is not NFL material and PSU needs to develop its younger guys. Another season of mediocrity ahead. :(

It was good to see Sean go out in spectacular fashion tonight. Great game for him and a solid team effort all around.

I sure am glad I didn't watch that game!:spit::sour:

Lincoln Riley has got to find a way to build a complete team, or USC is going to have a string of seasons just like this one - very good, but not great. He was hired to get USC back to the top. If they keep ending seasons like this, he won't last long.

Also, I was really hoping for a better bowl season for the Pac-12 overall. I thought with so many ranked teams, they could get it done. This has been a very unsatisfactory end to the year.:(
