That's all well and good, but how about the condition of your offensive line by that time???
If they can't block, doesn't matter how fresh the RB's and WR's are....
You got a point. But how often do DL guys tackle WR's? Not often I'm sure you'll agree. So I hope you guys plan on cycling in fresh DB's all night. Same goes for your LB's. Once the Florida RB's get across the line of scrimmage, those tired LB's roaming around the field will be grasping for air.
The LSU defense is great...dominating. We haven't seen anything like it all season. But the same story can be told on your side of the ball. Feasting on Appalachian State (and don't you even start with some BS about how great they are) and North Texas has done nothing to prepare you for this game. Auburn and Miss State brought nothing to the table offensively.
You guys stole that game from us last year on your home field with one minute left. We had a sophomore QB then, and we weren't nearly as fast as we are now. Your defense was giving up around 40 yards a game, and we came in to town and ran up over 150 on you guys. Yes, I understand the only stat that matters is the score, I'm just pointing out that this game is easily winnable for Florida despite the supposed defense with nine DL starters.
The home field, the speed, and the Tebow factor all weigh in our favor. In your favor....the dominating defense and a gutsy coach. Maybe the LSU offense is better than I am giving them credit for?
It's going to be one great game. I so wish you and I could watch the game together. Some day my friend, we need to meet up and watch this game together.
