any word about this from the SEC?
Check the front page of ESPN.com. Spurrier said it wasn't an issue.

Which is why I mentioned quality of opponents as well--that's what a lot of the numbers those computers are crunching are supposed to determine. The BCS computers look at much more than margin of victory. All types of stats are consumed.
OK, you're starting to come around to my way of thinking.Looking at that list, only the LSU game looks impressive. All the other wins for either team are fairly ho-hum.
Unless UGA screws us up by blowing a game or two to someone else along the way, which I think they've done before.Florida has every chance in the world to do some big things going forward. OSU has to play Penn State, and then that's it for them competition-wise. If Florida can pull of a decisive win against Georgia, then things will change drastically for them. They'll shoot up in all the polls, and the BCS will reflect a bit of that. If they turn the ball over a few times and barely win, it might not change to much.
Nice effort by QB Kevin Craft in the last seconds of the UCLA win over Stanford.
Go Bruins!

If USC keeps shutting out opponents, it will be hard for any one-loss team to pass them.
To assume the SEC champ gets an automatic bid is fanboy-ism. Don't be surprised if a one-loss Big 12 champ gets the nod.
