need a 4x10..cant choose!!!

how is the bottom end with that cab? I am playing classic rock. most gigs will be in a 120 person bar, but have a new years gig at a hall!

Its got plenty of lows for me. I havent had an issue with it farting out. Im running the amp set flat and using either a BDDI or VT Deluxe as my EQ. I also have a BBE Maximizer with the lows and highs set at 12 o'clock. All my basses are passive P or P/Js

Why not get the TC RC410, instead of the BC410? If you can still find them downpriced, they are fantastic bang for the buck. I got one for under 500 euro new, and it is absolutely great.

I would love to but i do not see them available at AMS, with xmas and 5 kids, I have no choice but to use their payment plan!...I have to have a cab by the 30th, it is just so hard to decide!

I have a TC Electronic BC410 and its a great cab. Its 4 ohms and I use it with my Mark bass Little Mark II.

Thats one of the cabs I was looking at! Only thing about it that bugs me is the 4 ohm thing, I would not be bale to add another cab in the future! I do plan on getting the TC500 head down the road sometime! Does this cab have good punch? I love the sound of a plucked/muted string and want it to be felt! Thanks for all the help people!!!!

If you get the TC500 head I think you can add another TC cab. For $500.00 new you can't beat it. Sounds great and its light. I have to say i like my Aguilar DB410 setup better. It had more mid punch but the cabs are more then twice the price and weight.

BTW I sent you a message.

The OP stated they will have to do payments, so can not do used, but people keep posting about used gear. Not wanting to sound rude, just wanting to help the OP as much as possible. The used cabs mentioned are great cabs.

Yes that is true...I am no idiot and wish I had a few hundred laying around to get a nice used cab, I would be all over it...but with xmas and layaways I can not do it, I have to make payments! But I do appreciate all the help!

Go without a cab for now, and save up some cash for a quality cab. The cab is the essential part of your rig. A great amp will sound bad through a cheap cab, but a nice cab can work with a not so high end amp.

IMO of course.

I have noticed that there is a late night tv show bassist, that has his choice of any speaker, or amp, because money is not an issue, and he can be as particular as he wants because he is the great Will Lee, with Dave Letterman show. He choses Hartke !

I have an old preavey 1x15 cab with a black widow in it I am using right now to practice but I need a cab for a new years gig that will pretty much be paying me enough to pay the cab off!!
