Need a new watch

Seiko, Citizen, Casio and Skagen - Between them you can get really any kind of look in a very good and affordable watch, maybe two.

There are some GREAT shopping sites out there with nothing but watches at huge discounts. Go to Invalid Link Removed and watch it for a while - they have several watch deals every day, and you can find some of the discount sites there.

For example on dealnews (today)

well...hats off to Stratovani and his Speidel.

my POS leather band has been broken for some time, although i love the Bulova self-winding watch.

after reading strat's post yesterday, I went out and purchased a new Speidel Twist-O-Flex this morning from Service Jewelers (formerly Service Merchandise)

bought it for 24.00 and they adjusted it (that is, made it fit) for free.

heaven...just what i needed.

I recently lost my only watch and I feel naked now so I need a new one. My budget is limited but I was curious to see what suggestions you guys have as I know there's a lot of watch guys over here.

So far I have these 4 I like:

Like you can see, my budget is around 200-250, I know it's not ideal but it's all I want to spend.

Suggestions? Ideas? Comments? Random comments etc. are all welcome.

I have been a watch collector for years. For a while, all I wore was vintage mechanical watches. They require regular servicing by a good repair shop. Now I favor Seiko Kinetics, which have a self charging capacitor instead of a battery.

I also like Tissot and Tourneau quartz watches. Great quality, and style in several price ranges. I have had good luck finding these gems in local pawnshops.
