Excellent choice but note that the vocals are quite challenging.Chris Isaak - Wicked Game
Clapton says he's thinking about retiring from touring. Maybe he's getting tired of playing it too?OMG, Wonderful Tonight for SIX YEARS? I'd have to be getting Clapton's royalty checks to play that song.
He's also stopped playing Tears in Heaven. It's about his son, Conor, who fell to his death from a window in New York City in 1991. It's obviously a really traumatic event for him. What dad wouldn't have great difficulty playing that song?Clapton says he's thinking about retiring from touring. Maybe he's getting tired of playing it too?
I'm available to play that song most weeknights near the Cincinnati area.As my new band puts together a new song list, I've drawn a line in the sand and have refused to play Wonderful Tonight. I don't care if it's a guaranteed a**-grabber, I'm tapping out. Any suggestions for a slow dance ballad that fits in a predominantly mid-80's and newer alt/modern rock set list? I'd even venture into new country if it's a sure thing.
Nice video.Chris Isaak - Wicked Game
