Need advice asap; Japanese fender

I have an E jazz Bass Special. I'm pretty sure it's made of some kind of space aged unmeltable butter. So smooth and creamy.
I went ahead and bought it... I'm out of town for work so they will ship it to my house, Im hoping to get to play it again before I return home.
The wife isn't to upset as I had half the money already saved up from gigs

Great catch! Still regret selling one of those to a friend many years ago. It's still his daily player. Swapped the pickguard on mine. TS goes well with black, IMO.

Thanks....I didn't really need a HS case, but I bought this while out of town and they will need to ship it and I didn't want to take a chance. From what I've read the plant in japan that made the japanese fenders also built the japanese ibanez guitars as well. Both are very highly regarded as superior to their US/Korea counterparts.
These are great, I would snap it up for that price. They made a fretless model exactly like this (unlined) that was fantastic too. I'd love to grab one of those
Had one just like it that I gave to my brother after 15 yrs of gigs. Man I want that thing back.
That is a score. Every Japanese Fender I've had--bass or guitar--has been killer, and indeed they had GREAT necks (my current MIJ Geddy being no exception).
