Neoprene straps... talk to me

Hello,
I buy a GruvGear 4" Solo strap NÉO for my Spector Alex Webster (10 pounds !!!)
Looks very good but i have a little problem :
Mine don't have the little round metal pieces that you open with a screw driver.
It has 2 long male - female pieces : i think it open with a lever arm somewhere but i don't want to make a mistake and destoy the pieces !
The You Tube videos have all the little round pieces
Anyone have a clue ?
Thanks.

I've used Comfort Strapps since around 1997 or do. Had one if the early Fender-branded Neo-Tech ones and got rid of it pretty quickly due to bounce. I have three or four Comfort Strapps now, and they make my two heaviest basses (Skyline 56-01 and a mahogany JB shaped body that's north of 11 pounds) tolerable

I have a few Comfortstrapps and they’re not bad but, after then trying a Neotechs, I like the Neotechs much better. I found the Comfortstrapps to be too bouncy compared to the Neotechs.

I saw someone on TB mention Kliq straps, which I don’t remember finding anywhere but on Amazon. They’re not that bouncy, which I prefer, and they have “ air cell” pockets on the under side that help it stay put. I now have a Kliq on my two main players. FWIW, they’re not exactly lightweight basses - a Stingray 5HH and an L-2500 - but both the Neotechs and Kliqs make them pretty comfortable.
