Been able to successfully execute an armpit fart.
...played a show with any effects at all. I used effects with a studio improv group I played with for many years where we'd all hook up to machinery, jam and record, as well as in band rehearsals just to hear what it sounded like, but all the shows I've played were all straight from the bass into the amp.
You have just never had enuff mai-tai's.

I usually ship that way. Easy and supposed to make an insurance claim much easier if there's damage to something packed by the shipper. Convenience and peace of mind versus rooting in the recycling bin are worth 20 bucks, at least to me.
.... had a pedal board. I hardly ever use any effects. Chorus once a year maybe for filler. I have an EQ for when I play my Godin which needs the highs from the piezos cut way down.
Never have I ever felt like I've successfully explored all the options available in a more complex unit such as the EHX HOG2, KMA Horizont, or EHX Superego+. There's just so much you can do with them

Once the COVID-19 restrictions went into effect I decided I had time to finally do it. Now I'm looking forward to the day when my band will finally start back up again so I can try out my "new" toys in a love setting.

had a Fulltone pedal, nor will I ever. Same goes for JHS.

- I did use a Darkglass vintage tubes for one gig (we were doing one cover that needed distorted bass).
I've also tried a Sansamp BDI and a MXR-M80, but never got used to them and sold them. Straight to the amp for me.

Never have I ever worn white shoes or any athletic wear at a gig (after loading in, that is).
... had to go to the hospital to have a harmonica removed from my mouth.
Never have I ever ...had a board, or even used any pedal on a gig for a bass!
I really need to get this figured out with the compressor thing. I had the blue "compressor sustainer" thing from boss and I messed with it at home for about 10 minutes and I found the different settings ranged from "no change" to "sounds worse than nothing" lol.

never have i ever used a pedal at a gig...even tho i bought a boss compressor and flanger back in 83.
not had my EBS Multicomp (Made in Sweden) on my pedalboard.
