Jeez I thought it was a MIM model. They could at least tint the neck lacquer slightly.... still like the look of it though.

I agree the neck is very light in colour. I don't personally like it but it doesn't work with a relic.

Or even a tinted lacquer. The bass is a clear nod to the '50s but it looks like the neck was still in the tree yesterday. Maybe they messed up the photography, but a neck that pale belongs on a $80 Ebay special...

I get what you're saying but the nitrocellulose finish will yellow naturally on its own in just a few years, doesn't take long.

Maybe ... didn't the Cabronita start off as a CS model?

They must be doing well with those Cabronita Ps, because it seems like they keep releasing new versions every 6 months or so. Not my thing.

As has been said, the White-on-White looks phenomenal, but the pickup location bugs the crap out of me. I really wish they'd placed it in the traditional '51 spot. It just looks silly with the '51 pickguard, which butts out to the spot the pup would normally be, but a big gap between the pup and the guard.
