New Arrival - Roscoe Century Standard Plus 6 J (Koa/BEM)

^^^ Thanks guys.

I'm looking forward to getting my hands on this one. I've certainly lusted over it for a while now.

I thought that that I'd lost my chance to get it when it suddenly got a lot of attention a week or so ago but some how it hung around just long enough for my Elrick to sell,

....... Got to say, it sure looks good with the black hardware too! :D

Joe - enjoy the bass. I was looking at it again tonight wondering...now I don't have to any more. I was doing the circular logic 5 or 6 string debate again. Maybe this is a sign to stick with what I played for years...

Thanks Jerry!

Between the Roscoe GTG and the still pending trip to San Fran there's a good chance we might be able to get the two of them together.

If this bass sounds anything like the sound clips that I've heard of yours then I'll be smiling. Of course I'll have to take into consideration who's playing it!;)

Jerry can make a Hondo with 6"inch action sound good. I've saw him in action at our local music store. My man played everything from Chic, to Rush.

Made me want to quit.;)

And here's a picture of the CS Plus 6J laying around and resting in Georgia! :)

Greg,
One thing that I forgot to mention. Somehow I guess I was so focused on the top that I overlook the fact that it had a nice BEM finger board. That doesn't always show well in pic's so even though I read it in the spec's I didn't really pay much attention to it.
I've had 3 other Roscoe SKB 3006's with BEM FB's and only one of them even came close to how nice this one looks (in person).

.... as you stated, I guess they really do build them from the same wood stock! :)
