New Arrival - Roscoe Century Standard Plus 6 J (Koa/BEM)

Steve, FWIW, the spacing at the bridge on that bass is 18.3mm or .708". Very comfy, IME, not too skinny like the Ibby that Todd played, and not as "big" as Ryan's 20mm (or my 19mm) beasties.

I think you will be VERY happy with this bass, in every way.

No problem, Greg. It worked out perfectly, since Steve was going to be down in Fargo already anyway.

It just made sense for him to be able to try each pickup configuration out, in person, so he could make a more informed decision, based on hands-on experience.

I will never be a good enough or big enough player to be considered a Roscoe "Endorsing Artist", so I will be content to be a Roscoe "Pusher". (there are two other guys playing Roscoes in this town that were purchased solely based on the guys trying one of my basses at a gig).

Between the Roscoe GTG and the still pending trip to San Fran there's a good chance we might be able to get the two of them together.

If this bass sounds anything like the sound clips that I've heard of yours then I'll be smiling. Of course I'll have to take into consideration who's playing it!;)
