Dr. FedEx should be delivering my new baby this afternoon, I can't wait. I'm a Fender guy, I keep looking at other higher end basses, but always get hooked into a Fender, I now have 2-Ps and 2-Jazz

Someday I will break down and buy something in the $2.5k range.

That's a nice bass. I like doing woodworking and appreciate a nice piece of wood when I see one, enjoy it.

Well the baby arrived alive and safe at 4:58 pm on Friday at the FexEd depot, by 5:13 it was on the way home safely protected in an approved car seat. It was a healthy 8+ pounder with no noticeable dead spots at all.

This morning I took it to church to be baptized in my praise band

I like it, I noticed that with the same volume setting it sounds lower than my American Jazz, but the pickups seem to be setup a little low, I'll mess with that soon. It sounds really nice and as a plus the grain of the wood is really nice.

Eventually I may replace the pickups with a CS set and maybe a beefier bridge, but for now it is staying like that.
