I get a kick out of Behringer haters showing up in an obviously Behringer focused thread to take a dump on Behringer.
You’re obviously entitled to your own opinion as much as anyone else, but why you’d think anyone is interested in your outrage is beyond me.
Sadowsky makes “rip offs” of Fenders. Really, any/every bolt neck guitar or bass is a Fender “rip off”. Fender sells a *lot* of Fenders.
Solidgoldfx, Tech 21, Catalinbread and many *many* other effects companies make SVT preamp and overdrive pedals, yet Ampeg is still going strong and arguably stronger than ever. If you have an SVT, you don’t need any of those pedals.
If Moog was at all interested in capturing this market, they have everything they need to do so, it isn’t as if they’re unable to make their own product less expensive than Behringer does; they choose not to.
Same as Genz Benz. They’re not in the slightest bit threatened by Behringer/Bugera because people who want a GB and can afford a GB will get a GB regardless of what Bugera “rips off”. People who will buy and use a Bugera don’t care about your opinion of their amp and they never intended to buy a Genz Benz in the first place and would be spending their money on a Fender Rumble or whatever else if there were no Bugeras.
Anyway, you’re certainly entitled to a self superior moralistic opinion, but you should know that nobody cares about it, least of all Moog. Also, it’s not a good look.
