I picked mine up used for 500 shipped, in new condition. I believe it weighs around 50ish pounds. Its no lightweight, but its not a beast.

BurningSkies said:I've been thinking more and more about a 15 recently...hungering for more 'girth' to my sound. While I love my 1212, I'm thinking I'd like to use it in the place of a 210 along with a 15. I see that the HT115 is no longer listed on the Bergantino website...so I guess it's just keeping a lookout for a used one?
Can anyone give me real world specs on this cab to see if it is even in the running for me? I'd either use it alone or pair it with my 8ohm 1212. Is this worth thinking about?
tombowlus said:The HT115 was "delisted" some time ago. Tonally, it goes deeper than its specs would lead you to believe (Jim is notoriously conservative on his specs, IME/IMHO), and it is a very tight, very clear cab, but it's certainly not thin at all. One makes for a very good stand alone cab, and two (or one paired with a good 2x10) is an excellent high volume rig. Again, IME/IMHO.
Tom.

You may or may not remember that I play in a reggae band. I've been hungering for a fuller, fatter low end sound lately. While I've always liked my 1212 for audibility on stage, I struggle with wanting more low end to give me the 'boom' I need for that type of music. I'd like a cab that could work as a stand alone, or that I could use my 1212 (like a 2x10) on top of for bigger gigs.
My bottom line is low, loud, and clear but defined.(Dingwall AB, 400+, etc, and I strip out most of the frequencies above 500hz anyway!).
Sound like a match?
tombowlus said:Ideally, I'd say an NV215, or perhaps Accugroove El Whappo or Whappo, Jr. But the HT115, for its size, especially, should do well in this regard. While it certainly can do the tight, clear, full-range thing, if you wanted to roll off the highs, fatten up lows, and dub it out, I think it'd do pretty well.
Tom.

I love TB.
I'm very much looking forward to it!
+1. After playing through a few IPs at Tom's place earlier this year, I'm just not quite happy with how anything else sounds any more.tombowlus said:Booyah! You are gonna love it!
