Well, slap my momma! The town extended our building permit, no fuss & no cost. Much as I moan about the town, I should certainly sing their praises when something goes right. Good job, Blacksburg!

Oh, and the exterior lights are up and running! Now I just need the sun to set so they'll turn on!

Yeah, I haven't been this excited to part with a bunch of money in a long time.
Here's the first track installed! This is a 16' section that we made by splicing together two 8' sections of track. Our electrician Steve thinks we can have it all up and wired tomorrow, so we may be calling to schedule the electrical inspection by the end of tomorrow.
