New DR neon strings

Hey guys,
Seeking your opinion on which color of string I should put on my Pedulla! This bass is in "road worn" condition and is going to be my drunken bar slob bass.
Here's a pic of the Pedulla... What do you think?

Definitely pink or orange would look best.

I would buy.
Theyve looked like crap on anything but solid colored basses that compliment the strings they are used with. Of course others may feel differently about it.
So, I have a question for those of you that have these strings. Do you think that they would work at all on a medium scale bass? I'm really interested in putting them on my 32" scale Aria pro II and totally '80's-ifying the beast, but I'm not sure if they'll work.

So, I'm curious as to what players actually want as far as the coated strings DR offers. I know I'm looking hopefully to them expanding their options, after an e-mail I got in April made it sound like they were looking into blue and red in the Neon line.
Personally? I would buy Red, Blue, Orange, Green, and Purple if they offered them in Neon, and Black, White, and Silver as far as regular coated strings go. I actually want to have red and orange alternating strings on a black bass, and I think purple would look awesome as hell on just about anything.

My problem - I only have two other basses, and both are carrying the original factory installed strings that they came with.
Carvin 4011's and 4511's are both extremely inexpensive and extremely durable. I'm going on 2 years with mine, and can see no reason to replace them. They still ring with the same "piano-like, full-bodied, sound..." that they had when I originally pulled the bass out of its case.
Ernie Ball strings are a bit more expensive, but I have no reason to believe that they won't last just as long as the others.
Personally, I would buy DR Coated Strings in Dog-S*#! Brown and DR Neons in Gold-Toothed Yellow if they had them. The solution as to their ultimate use would just have to be put off for a later date...

Unfortunately they wont work, wrong scale, the outermost wrap of the E string would diff be on the tuning posts. Something that is to be avoided. Even if you string thru the body at bridge you wouldnt be able to avoid this. Unless you have reverse headstock with the low E string tuning post the furthest from nut. The A & D string might fit with string thru body at bridge. If you converted bass to string thru and angled thru the body toward the rear so string extends at least another inch thru the body, it might be doable though. Maybe.
I've been playing mine for a bit now, and I gotta say, I'm not digging the feel of em. Maybe they just haven't worn in yet, but they feel a bit grabby, and if I run my fingers across them (parallel to the frets), they actually squeak a little. I know that coated strings are going to feel different, but this is almost a dealbreaker for me. Maybe once I sweat on em a bit?

Just received and installed my first pair last night. Same feel and tone as the DR Black Beauties I've been using for a while now (which I love), and the neon strings are stunning! Took these 2 pics with ambient light pouring in from outside and they still glowed! Can't wait to see them under a black light...

Iv had my neon greens for 4 months now and there still holding strong and sounding beautiful. The G string is starting to fade (sound wise) a tiny bit but I kick the hell outta them so not bothered.
The coating has only worn off a tiny bit where it touches the frets so these strings are all good from my point of view!!!!

Thanks! Has the brightness of the neon coating on yours decreased at all? Do you see faded/less vibrant spots in certain areas?
