New DR neon strings

I'm playing a big crazy show on Saturday. Nine bands playing songs by Ween to commemorate 20 years since they released Chocolate and Cheese(best album cover of all time!). The show is going to be lit up with black lights so I relinquished my power slinkys and put a set of green neons on my old Yamaha. This will be the first time I ever dressed up my bass for a show!

I can't see any color other than plain metallic or black working on a natural finish bass.

I had plans to try out some neons but I'm not sure my new bass (black cherry) can pull any neons off. Black strings are about the only think I think will work with this finish. I thought the neon red may work, but I still think it may not look good. Will just have to hold off till I can pick up a 5 string.

My New TRBX 305 NEON Blues
I haven't used neons in a while seems like they improved the coating, these feel so much better than previous ones I;ve tried.
And they sound great!

Neon green would really pop on the natural.

Its all about the sound with me. I loved the looks of the Orange on my 75RI natural Fender Jazz but I did not like the feel and the squeak. The same squeak walking in the snow in the morning when it breaks thru. Or the same squeak walking on the sand on the beach. I played one show with them then took them off. Back to DR fat beams
