I like contrast better, myself. White, or red, or maybe even the pink would look great against that lovely shade of blue.

I'd run alternating Orange & Yellow strings. I did this on my sunburst Jazz with Rosewood fingerboard and the look from the stage was a knockout. Audience feedback was stellar. The double contrasting stripes against the dark did the trick. Visually LOUD and eye-poping WOW factor.

I always liked the black pearl against a natural body, also albalone is striking due to the multi-colors and nearly natural mother-of-pearl appearence. I put a mirror on my natural bodied P, ala Phil Lynott, but that was 1985. You can see a photo of it on my GHS Precision Flats praise report. Please be sure to post a pic when you're done!

Same benefit or disadvantage as non-colored coated strings.

I don't get it. None of these look cool in my eyes. Ever since I saw a video of Korn live I thought neon strings were tacky and lame, kind of like Fieldy himself. Sorry for the opinion, there's just no "anti neon strings thread" for me to post in. If you have any examples that might change my mind, I'm open to them.

I don't think they looked too bad on my frankenjazz but I took them off cuz I didn't like the feel of coated strings.

That's actually a lot more subtle than the ones I've seen on here. Still don't know if I'd want em on mine, but i don't hate it. That guy that put Orange neon on his Ric should be tried for crimes against humanity imho.
