Mine is my favorite and only 4 string. They are that good!!!I am afraid if I got myself a Short scale Ray....I may never want to go back to my...many...34inch scales!!![]()
A 4 banger strung BEAD played @ & above the 5th fret is a great option. Same easy reach as a shorty. Same tension as a 34 incher, with a B string and many options. I have never missed my G string.I am afraid if I got myself a Short scale Ray....I may never want to go back to my...many...34inch scales!!![]()
I love these new finishes .
Me too, but wish it had chrome hardware.Love that sparkle green

I saw the Dazzler finish in person and it looked really good!I like the Dazzler , but I’m holding out to see if they release another Tim Cummerford short scale active . I love mine and would certainly go for another one to compliment my natural finish one. I think the short scales sound even better with the preamp.
I think the black looks greatMe too, but wish it had chrome hardware.
Does any one know if these are limited numbers like last year or are they a production bass now?
If it takes me time , ‘materials, and or labor to produce it, it cost more .The last batch had a number of units sold next to it. This batch doesn't. So maybe production bass?
Also why is the natural $100 more? That's crazy to me
Probably better and matched pieces of ash used for the body. The last batch had a number of units sold next to it. This batch doesn't. So maybe production bass?
Also why is the natural $100 more? That's crazy to me.
