New Emerald carbon fiber ABG - impressive!

Just checked with Sean - lead time is currently 4 months if you get in line now. And they might be willing to mix the blue and green for me for a custom turquoise. ;)

I've got the fretless! Not a bad thing to say on my end. It absolutely sings in the higher registers and really comes through with a defining thump on the lows.
Lined or unlined? Side markers? Dots on fretting positions or in between? So many questions. ;)

I'm in! Should arrive in November - a little early for Christmas, but that works for me!
Mine was due a month ago, was also given a four-month build-time. But I got a custom radius and sixth string, so perhaps that's added to the build-time. Anyway, just letting you know that four months may be a bit optimistic. That's still pretty fast compared to a lot of custom builders though, I think, right?

Definitely, just read some of the custom build threads on here. Hoping it's in time for Christmas, but it doesn't really matter too much. Yes, 4 months for a custom build is pretty good, though other builders on here manage it pretty well too.

Four months is really quick for most builders, and I was quoted five months for my giant purple monster of a bass. They've been working through a pretty crazy bag log for a while, and Sean said they're almost caught up. Hopefully, in a few months we'll all be posting some new pictures!

The perils of having a good product and becoming popular. ;)

Have you seen the latest Scott Devine's video showcasing the JOURNEY carbon fiber portable bass ? model OB660, 27" scale, and it's [EDIT] collapsible.

As I said when both models - the Journey and the Balor - came out, it would have been beyond awesome if it had a huge-bodied carbon fiber body AND a collapsible neck. They up for a joint venture? What are we gonna call the result? Something about Ireland and a journey to a blessed land? Bran? Brendan? Manannan? Tethra?

I've been drooling over their website for long enough that I feel I should leave a comment. These look like incredible instruments... To be perfectly honest I'm not all that into ABGs in general, but both the parlor and baritone guitars they make are definitely contributing to my chronic GAS.
