I can probably guess the specs of the ps400 / ps1000 Anyone have any info on the piccolo?

600 @ 4ohms packed into an 8lb package.... Sounds like the LMII has some competition, depending on price.. Of course.

Good info on these. Let's hope they are at least somewhat close to being put on the market. It took A LONG time for the other amps to appear after announcement.

Edit: Marketing-wise, this move makes sense. There was always some confusion of the PS600 versus the 502... same wattage, same weight, etc... just one less channel but yet WAY less expensive.

Assuming he is keeping the higher end models in the line (502 and 902), he now has a micro head (why in the world would he put those big front handles on there I have no idea!), and a lower powered (and I assume low price point 400) and higher powered but totally different designed 1000 versus the fully featured 502. The 902 finishes off the top of the line.

The 400 is interesting. The only way that one makes sense (i.e., bigger box but lower power than the micro) would be if it hits a very competitive price point.

I wonder how competitive the Piccolo price will be. LM2 has set the limbo bar delightfully low. I've got the same question about the GB Shuttle. Looks like LM2 is the forerunner of what has become the hottest amp segment, for good reason. Wonder if the Eden WTX260 will become the WTX500 and if the EA micro will do some needed steroids as well.......
