I love relics and different body shapes. But this?

I’d try it... I like hollowbodies, so it’s got that going for it. Seems kind of like a few styles hodge-posted together. The only criteria for me would be, how does it sound and I don’t think that can be decided on a YouTube video.

Fender owns GUild, i'm sure it's just a Guild Bi-Sonic like they use on the Starfires.

Personally i love the bass and idea. Lakland sold a lot of Darkstar Glaubs, this is their take on it, i did the new body style very funky and the tele neck. cool idea.

I dig the shape and style a lot, but that particular bust finish looks really bad. a more subtle burst or 2 tone burst would be a lot better, but these in a solid stain would look really cool.

To those of you who wouldn't consider this bass because of the way it looks: Are you bass players or art connoisseurs? Or just goofy?

If I can't bring myself to simply look at an instrument, how am I going to play it?

As for the bass itself...yes to the hardware and neck, no to the body shape/finish as far as I'm concerned.

They'll sell about 27 of these and then move back to another batch of well-known offerings IMO.

thank you i didn't know that. well then it's either a copy of that pickup or they have an agreement with them to use it or just purchased a ton of them from them i'm guessing. the link between the companies is there.

are not that hard to find, nor are Kay or Dano bodies. Nor are necks. Just roll your own for cheaper.
