New Fender Bass?

I understand the concept of relicing to imitate a 60's Fender - make it look like one of the "good old ones". But here, we're relic'ing a bass to make it look like....basses that weren't made before 2019. And the mixture of the relic'ed body and that uber modern bridge....

Yes, we're hard on Fender when they try something new (or is it old?)

And yes, it'll be a hard reach for a lot of people, and will likely neck dive. Basses need an upper horn - or whale hump, or something to get the strap attachment when it needs to be to balance.
