in all seriousness... the avatar 115's have been out before.. they had a compact version and a 115 with the same box as the 212 and 410..
They had them in delta, neo and kappa pro versions..
this was a while back...IIRC
sounds perfect to me! I thijnk a 15 needs a little more volume,plus it will still prolly be half the weight of the peavey dinosaur i'm lugging around now.
It's not inherinrly bad. It's just not what I'm looking for. I prefer my 410 for larger gigs, and a single fifteen for small/medium gigs. If the fifteen is the same dimensions as a 410, it doesn't serve my needs.
I've never played through one, but Id love to. They would probably be perfect. I'm also horribly cheap, so a compact Avatar was interesting. Not to derail, but I have an old gutted Hartke combo with an older Eminence fifteen that does a killer job. It just happens to be butt ugly.
That doesn't make much sense.
Learn from the SWR Triad... do things better the next time.
I was thinking the same thing, although the Carvin is cheaper and seems to take to retrofitting with the 3015 Eminence. Dimensions are different also, might be a factor with the SPL crowd.

Not trying to start trouble, but on that LS, wouldn't its -3dB point of 52 Hz and -10dB point of 46 Hz constitute a showstopper right there?
Avatar at one time, (I had one), made a 115H cabinet that was the same box that their 210 and 112 cabinets are in now.
Roughfully 23"x17.5"x15.5", sounded surprisingly good.
It had a 4 ohm, 600 watt, Kappa Pro 15" speaker and horn in a front ported cabinet.
Wish I'd have kept it!
FRom my conversation with dave o think the new 15 will be close to that in size and the 15/10 will be the size of the 410 or 212 cabs
I guess that if we're on that tip a 2x6 would be nice...to have 3 of.
