That is VERY expensive for a JHS pedal. Could probably get a better builder to build a better version of the pedal for that price point.

Annnnnnnd.... scratched off the list. My internal valueometer peaked at two bills. I can buy a really nice synth pedal for that price.
for that price you could get a golden age projects pre 73 and use the hi-z in. still not a neve, but i imagine a lot closer.
I had the opportunity to play a Colour Box over the weekend. Not impressed, personally. Maybe it has some magic for vocals or something, or maybe I just don't know how to work it, but I didn't get any tones out of it that would make me want to pay $399 for it.
I saw from Prymaxe that it had begun shipping. As much as I was impressed by the very first video they posted (or first series of videos?), every demo after that was a bit underwhelming. I like the concept of a Neve (1073?) in a stompbox idea however. Maybe somebody will do it good. Maybe you just need to go rackmount.
You would think that a company with a better track record, origin or warm audio, could get in this type of market...
Hopefully others here will have more to report.
