1. Where is the Master Volume set?
2. In a previous post you said it worked fine before you added the pedals. Is that true?

Just saw the GK Facebook page. New analog Legacy’s coming out?!
What does that even mean? What is the current Legacy? I looked on the GK FB page but didn’t see anything about it.

"Hello everyone! We wanted to clear some things up real quick regarding the current Legacy and Fusion S heads. These Class D heads were released as a direct replacement for the MB and MB Fusion line. They were never meant to replace the RB and Fusion 550 lines. We will be bringing out an analog Legacy and Fusion S series of heads in early 2021 that will replace the 1001RB, 2001RB, and Fusion 550. If you have any other questions regarding this, put them in the comments below!"

It sounds like they will be releasing new Legacy heads with different power sections that are similar to the old RB line, but I don’t know (not class D, maybe?)
I have no idea. Unfortunately that question is above my head. I do know the Legacy 800 sounds awesome, though!
Where’s the love for GKs Legacy amps, so many great deals on here and no one is biting? Maybe Covid19 has something to do with it?
So I have a quandary....There is an old 400rb I gave to a friend years ago as I thought it had an issue. Just recently he mentioned that in the years he has had it , it has no issues. I was curious about the sound it had , I used it on some recordings and it sounded so good. He offered to let me "borrow" it back for a little while to experiment with.
Long story , I can get nearly the exact sound with my SVT 6 pro.......EXCEPT there is one thing...I need to know if it is my imagination...
There is an immediacy to the attack with the 400rb. It is so slight that I am not sure about it. Is this my imagination? Or is it something with the power amp design? Or is it an EQ thing I cannot get with the SVT6-pro?
Lastly, does the Legacy have this immediacy ? I would love to go get one, but only if it has this almost unidentifiable quality.

It’s only my opinion, but ALL GK products over the years have an immediacy that has kept me coming back over and over. I’m very happy with my Legacy, but I was also a fan of RB & MB amps, so take my opinion for what it’s worth

PS - My only Ampeg is a ‘76 V4B. I’ve loved it for years, but have never acclaimed it’s “immediacy”, LOL!

I had a 400 for years gigged it for over 20 years never had an issue, still had the factory fuse in it when I sold it, I have MB200 and Legacy 800 love GK, I never played Ampeg so I can't help you there..
