Bummer on the release date. Got to move on... For now.
True, but I'm still a player for this thing. It's just too perfect for what I need it for...

info on the cabinet emulation on this unit?
I too believe it's early, but there seems to be some PC company's already supporting it. Following is a quote from a PC Gamer article written June 10, 2015 about motherboards at Computex:i think it's still early to addopt USB-C. the only ones are on the MacBooks![]()
USB is for recording (it acts like a USB sound-card) and reamping (DAW sends audio by USB to the PLEX, audio is processed by the PLEX, audio goes back into the DAW by USB)what is the USB for?

I wouldn't call that a "strong resemblance."Not trolling here, but to me the Plex bears a strong resemblance to the Fishman Aura Spectrum DI.
I wonder if there is some company/product connection?
Cheers!

Sure there's a tuner flanked by two footswitch. Not trolling here, but to me the Plex bears a strong resemblance to the Fishman Aura Spectrum DI.

But can the Fishman drive the MBP cabinets? For me anyway, that's a selling point.
GK new MBP Powered Enclosures? (More info please!)It will require a pretty high level balanced drive which will be available on the revised combos. A typical DI may not provide a truely balanced signal and the level may not be high enough.

The MBP is designed to work with our MB combos. We do not recommend any other use. If you want to use another source you will need +10dBu true balanced and you will not have a limiter.
