Yes I thought the optical out was weird, too, but certainly a somewhat unique (if useless) feature.Optical digital output? I don't do any home recording, but I would think USB would be my choice for ease of use and not rca or spdif.
I watched the video, me likey. Sounds like it might be pricey, have been wanting a preamp with a tube.
Any advice you can give on tube preamps would be appreciated. Looking for one that eases into distortion for a natural gentle fuzz. Think of it as clipping on a strong note but clear otherwise.I am a tube preamp junkie. I’ve had a Noble, Shaw Tube Injection, and currently have a Shift-Line Olympic MkIIIs. Love tubes!

Well damnPlayed through it at NAMM and it sounds excellent. Definitely call me interested.
However, Markbass has no launch date yet and no pricing information. Still in beta.

The pedal is priced at 523.00$!
The value is from converted from pounds, I found it off a European music shop offering pre orders for the pedal as of yesterday.
