Don't underestimate the Talkbass community's thoroughness in bashing Ric's.

It's something out of the ordinary, but knowing RIC, they will charge top-dollar for it.

I love ric guitars and basses ! I honestly have to say that I'm not turned on though .... I'm sure there are many others that love it though... That's the beautiful thing about having choices... At least RIC is starting to come up with choices lately. So that is awesome !

I think it's gorgeous. I likely wouldn't buy one,unless they made an S model,but the cb binding and the overall palette on this is just stunning.

This. I'd dig that bass without the binding. Also not a fan of the fret markers. Otherwise, not too shabby.

I'm a big Ric fan, but this one doesn't do much for me. However, if someone buys this, and wants white and chrome trim and hardware, I'd be happy to swap those pieces off my Jetglo.

Rickenbacker's are evil and the worst basses to have ever been made! Oh no hang on I quite like the sound and some of my favourite players use them.

Actually I have never owned or even played a Rickenbacker, is this what they mean by delayed gratification?

One day I will try one, which will no doubt lead to an increase in of the number of basses I own

A standard Rick 4003 runs about 1500.00 plus or minus a few dollars in the U.S.A. Not sure about this one however. Not sure what they would cost in Brazil, but I'm thinking it would be a bit more
