I hear what you're saying. From what I've followed on here the clean headroom the 1200w provides is what people are after for the lead sled feel.

Want to test the waters here. I’m considering moving my 800+ and one of the cabs - either the 2x10 or the 1x15. This rig has been in my studio-never giged or pushed for that matter. PM me if interested to discuss. Approximately 1 year old.

I got some square piece of rubber from the plumbing section of the hardware store. Not sure if it was supposed to be a drawer liner or what but it works fine. It was like $3.

Yes. I use an amp wedge so Mesa 2x12 is tilted pretty good. Using a 16 in tom tom sound off pad works great..keeps wd800 in place

If the cab is tilted back sufficiently, perhaps you can hang the amp's two front feet over the front edge of the cab.

A large mouse pad also works and can be found cheap at dollar stores.

this is exactly what I do when I use a smaller cab (in my case, Berg CN112) on a tilt back stand. I just hang the front feet of the WD800 over the front edge of the cab. Works great!

Very impressed, so far. I keep wanting to try it with an SW115 on top, but in all honesty, it's plenty loud as is.

Is it easy to move around with the wheels on the back?
I was thinking of getting the 2x12, but that 2x15 cab has more of the sound I’m looking for.
