New mesa subway amps and cabs!

Any of you folks have a suggestion for EQ settings on the WD-800 for a great P bass with flats tone? I have a new P bass on the way from Fender in a few weeks and am looking for a starting point.

That's what I play. I usually set the 6 eq dials at noon and bump the midrange and bass to about 2oclock, and turn the dampening knob to high.

Just came here after watching horrible demo reviews of the subway cabinets on YouTube. Can anyone here that’s done demos of the cabinets send me a link of their playing? I’d love to hear how they sound from a well rounded musician than listen to that dreadful YouTube video again..

Yep, this has been discussed multiple times, some like the videos, some hate them. I actually think they are just ok.

So I had to chance to jam with a new drummer who also has a sound/production company. I was playing through the WD800 and 2-1x15s. I have a geezer pj set in my bass and Chrome flats. He was blown away by my tone and couldn’t stop talking about how good it sounded and how well it sat in the mix. That’s all
It better sit good in a mix, that's the result of ~40 years mixing FOH.

Went to Hollywood for a session and never realized that there’s Mesa HQ lmao

I totally wasn’t expecting it! Tried their 2x15’s with my bass and WOW! I’m GASSED
