New mesa subway amps and cabs!

Aesthetically Duke's bass cab designs take some getting used to, but it does grow on you and certainly minimizes size and weight. Everyone who isn't familiar with AudioKinesis usually thinks I made the cab...except of course for those who are familiar with my carpentry skills or lack there of... :)

Duke's cabs are totally function over form, though he does have an aesthetic. If it were food, we'd call it "rustic" :D

I will admit the look has grown on me, particularly my old H1203 which has plenty of wear down to the wood from load in/out. I like patina. Rustic Patina.

Yes, they do have an album coming out!

I’ve got their EP on now.
I kinda like the way Dukes cabs look. They make me smile a bit. If they had a “regular” grill, they’d have to be a deeper overall box.
I’m also not a tweeter guy, although I do have a cab that has one but it’s a BBII so it’s not a “regular” tweeter.
I can’t wait to get the WD to plonk on top of them. Still got a couple weeks to go I guess.

Yeah cheers man. I was erring on the side of the 2 x 15 because on the YouTube demo compared with the 2 x 12 and 4 x 10, it had that little bit more rounded tone. So when I get to playing with all the controls of the WD800 and dial in how I want my bass to sound I’m pretty sure that I’ll get what I need from the 2 x 15. Thank you.

Is there a video for putting foot pads on the 112 subway cab? I purchased the new feet and screws from the Mesa website.

Is it as simple as taking out the short screw on each of the corner pads, adding the feet and larger screw? Or, do you have to drill a new hole?
